7 Advantages to Hang Vinyl Banners for Your Business Promotion

If you are starting a new business the best way to grab people’s attention is by an outdoor banner. However the way you hang and maintain it thereafter also has a huge impact on how it will benefit your business’s attention. All it takes is a few simple steps to get you started and it will make your banner look eye catchy and grab attention of your target audience. Here are a few pointers to help you get started.

  1. The easiest way to hang customized banners is by using bungee cables. These bungees are easily attached to the banners grommet holes and can also be stretched according to your convenience. These are very easy to use and can easily be used almost anywhere you want! They are most easy to wrap around the poles and columns and hence can be used to hang the banners most efficiently.
  2. Secure the banner using bungee cords which come with the bungle cables at the four corners of the banner from the poles or objects used to hang them. You can use zip ties to secure the vinyl to the fence for extra support. Use heavy duty zip ties if you live in windy areas.
  3. Now you might want to know that while working with hanging your banner you might come across a situation where the ideal location lacks an object to hang the banner. In this scenario utilize Tee Posts which are actually steel posts that are driven into the ground.
  4. You can hang your banner with bungee cords once these posts are driven in the ground properly.
  5. Use giant outdoor banner displays which are a perfect way to drive traffic into your business in no time.
  6. Use screws and washers for mounting your banner for permanent indoor displays. Drill a hole on the suitable place on the wall and place a washer behind each grommet and insert the screw.
  7. You can also use snap kits to hang the banner from the ceiling or suction cups to display it on a window. Using a portable tripod stand to display it at eye level is a great idea.

Maintaining Your Banner

A banner should last for three years if you take good care of the same while following these simple steps.

  • If you happen to store your banner when not in use, simply roll it up and put it safely in its box.
  • Never fold your banner while storing or removing it from the banner stand.
  • Keep you banner away from direct sunlight and do not store it at places of extreme heat.
  • Whenever you need to clean your banner, use soapy water. If that is unavailable due to any reasons, use only mild household cleaners. While cleaning it use a clean piece of cloth or a paper towel.
  • Make sure you don’t use objects like brush, pressure washer or any other object that is abrasive as that might spoil the print on the banner.
